Conservation Key

Since 2021, we have conducted over a dozen pro-bono submersible drone surveys for conservation partners such as The Florida Dept. Of Environmental Protection’s Coral Conservation Program, The Reef Institute, The International Sea Keepers Society, and The Surfrider Foundation.

As a result of our surveys, in 2021, our Founder was awarded the Go Blue Ambassador of the Year Award, which included a panel of judges such as Dr. Sylvia Earle, Cristina Mittermeier, Paul Nicklen, and Fabian Cousteau.

Why Are Coral Surveys Important?

Our coral reef surveys help to provide a clear, scientifically-testable record of reef health in any specific region of the Florida Reef tract. This includes monitoring coral species, reef inhabitant populations, and changes in coral growth patterns.
